REGULATION

Lighting currently uses 30% of the world energy consumption.

The entry into force of the new European Regulations on Energy Efficiency has restricted the use of traditional bulbs. The replacement of incandescence by low-consumption energy-saving bulbs is going to mean a large economic saving and a significant drop in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

The EU has established a calendar that regulates the progressive disappearance of incandescence and its replacement by energy-saving bulbs.
